Have we romanticized entrepreneurship?

If you just look at the 10 richest people in the world, you see 6 of them are founders, 3 have inherited wealth from a founder, 1 might as well be considered a founder. To top it off, Elon Musk just made the top of the list…and you guessed it, is a founder — of multiple companies. Looking at this there is no surprise that starting a business is very enticing.

Even when you look at the amount of capital raised by startups this sentiment is solidified. In the last decade, at least $1.5 trillion has been poured into the pursuit of new ideas. 2020 probably hovers…
